The Ghana Police Administration has advised drivers to be cautious when using the Spintex road.

The Spintex Road, especially at Flowerpot area has seen a daily spike in vehicular traffic as a result of ongoing construction.

Some sections of the road have been blocked due to the construction making it difficult for the road users to drive through to their destination.

Members of the public may seek alternate routes where possible, according to the Police.

For the time being, the Police Administration has requested that the Department of Urban Roads and the contractor work nights in order to expedite the completion of the job and assist in managing the situation.

The Police Administration, on the other hand, is urging road users to obey the instructions of police officers assigned to traffic control.
