Media consultant and host of “Good Morning Ghana” on Metro Television, Dr. Ransford Abbey,  has called on Ghanaians to listen with caution, arguments being made by people from academia and other professionals on the ongoing LGBTQI+ debate.

According to Dr. Abbey, Ghanaians must strive to keep an open mind when listening to the views of the professionals and academics.

He said “Let me just caution you, please don’t go about thinking that anybody carrying a title like professor, Dr. etc., including myself is always right and says everything which you should take. So, you listen to us with caution”.

He urged Ghanaians to be discerning when following public debate on a national issue and as well interrogate comments coming from ‘experts’ on LGBTQI+ issues in the country.
