Former Member of Parliament and immediate past Minister for Aviation Joseph Kofi Kowe Adda passed on to glory.

He was 65.

News of his demise was confirmed by a close relative who said the former minister died in the early hours of Thursday, October 14, 2021, upon arrival at the Legon Hospital.

He was reported to have been battling with ill-health for the past few years.

Mr. Adda’s passing was also confirmed by some of his colleague party members who took to the Social Media to announce his sudden departure.

News of your death has come to me and members of the 7th parliament as a shock. You never showed any sign of leaving soon. Rest well Hon. Member and a Colleague. You will forever be remembered.

May the Good Lord repose your beautiful Soul until the last day of the resurrection when we shall all meet again.

One of them, MP and a former Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Kennedy Nyarko Osei, posted a short message on social media to commiserate with the family of Mr. Adda.

Family is yet to release any further information.
