Rapper Michael Owusu Addo popularly known as Sarkodie has revealed that he is still keeping the fake awards he received from Kwame Fordjour popularly known as Dr UN.

It came to light somewhere in September last year that the awards presented to top media personalities, top educationist, politicians and other celebrities including Sarkodie were not from the UN as the organizer made it look.

In an interview with Sammy Flex, host of Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon FM, Sarkodie said the approach which Dr. UN came with was not the best but then the award was worth it. Lamenting that “if it was him, which obviously he knows that if he had approached anybody saying he has an awards scheme, it wasn’t going to call for people to come. But I think if it is his award, I think it is still good, because that is him. If it is his award I think it is worth it.”

He however added that no matter how hard you try to avoid occurrences as such, it is only human that you will be caught off guard, adding that “in as much as you can try to prevent all sorts, life still happens. You will have times were things will catch you off guard. You can’t be too careful, that word isn’t possible to be able to stay away from certain things. Things happen.”
