Award-winning rapper Sarkodie noted with keen interest that he did not only do music to rise to stardom.

He made this revelation in the studios of Zylofon FM during an interview with Sammy Flex, host of Showbiz Agenda, when he was asked about the incident which occurred in Kumasi. A few weeks ago, Sarkodie was seen sticking his phone out of his car on the streets of Kumasi to video a ‘Trotro’ driver who has pasted the rapper’s image at the back of his car.

According to the rapper, he appreciates the love and support he receives from his fans and critics. He said “the call for doing music was not just necessarily for making a star and that’s it. It doesn’t end there. The fact that the fans listen to me, I appreciate that. Anybody who loves my music, supports the brand, I appreciate all of these.”

Following the release of his Album ‘No pressure’ some few days ago, Sarkodie has received some accolades from his fans and music lovers. Speaking to Sammy Flex, he revealed that ‘Anything’ is his favorite in the album. He said ‘Anything’ which is the eight song on the album has more of the message he wants to preach out.

In one of the songs titled “Rollies and Cigars” King Sark mentioned a certain ‘Bra Charles’ which many believed he was referring to Shatta Wale. Sarkodie however clarified that ‘Bra Charles’ was just a rhyme and he was never referring to Shatta Wale.
