The case involving Member of Parliament for Madina Francis-Xavier Sosu has been postponed till November 16 by the Kaneshie District Court in Accra.

The reason for this was that the police had received a letter from the Speaker of Parliament stating that Lawyer Sosu was out of the country on official business.

In court on Monday November 8, 2021 Assistant Superintendent of Police Sylvester Asare represented the police while Lawyer Victor Kodjogah Adawudu represented Sosu.

The case which was held in Chambers has subsequently been adjourned to November 16, 2021, for him to appear.

Lawyer Sosu is facing criminal charges levelled against him by the Ghana Police Service.

The Ghana Police Service last week secured a criminal summons for the Madina MP to appear in court on November 8, 2021.
