Some parts of Accra got flooded Friday morning following a brief downpour.

In Kaneshie, the deluge took over the main Accra-Kaneshie-Mallam highway around Pamplom down from the Market complex towards the newly constructed Obetsebi Interchange.

The main Trotro terminal was also flooded forcing drivers to park on the shoulders of the inner-town roads for hours.

The situation at Awudome Cemetery to Kwame Nkrumah Circle was not different from Kaneshie.

At Adabraka Sahara, residence have to desert their rooms, while shops were filled with the flood water.

The situation resulted in heavy vehicular traffic in different parts of Accra.

The video below shows the floods on the main Kaneshie trotro terminal as captured by a worker with Zylofon FM.
