A Policeman has allegedly compensated a female suspect by setting her free after having rounds of sex with her.

Reports said, Corporal Isaac Apomah officer stationed at Nkanfoa in the Cape Coast Metropolis of the Central Region, instead of resisting the temptation and stayed true to the motor of the service, thus service with integrity, he allowed his emotions to cloud his judgement.

Starr News sources, said the suspect Theresah Forson had been in custody for days.

But on Saturday September 25, 2021, the officer is said to have slept with her, in the cell when nobody else was at post.

Corporal Ampomah after the intercourse is reported to have asked the suspect to run away from the cells to a place where she cannot be found.

When the information of the disappearance of the suspect from the cells reached the Station Officer, he instructed to mobilize men in search of the suspect, in the Cape Coast area.

The suspect, instead of running away as directed by her ‘good samaritan’ officer, went to her families.

Members of the family fearing to be arrested and charged for habouring a fugitive, quickly surrendered Theresah back to the Police for re-arrest.

Meanwhile, the police officer in question has been arrested and placed in Police custody to assist with investigations over his alleged conduct.
