Ghanaian artiste, Wendy Shay says she has been saved by God, and she is now a born again.

She made this revelation on Showbiz Agenda hosted by Sammy Flex on Zylofon 102.1 FM.

She joins the likes of Nana Agradaa, and Moesha Buduong who are now repented souls and have given their lives to Christ.

The singer said she knows God has given her a platform to share the good news and “it is my duty to share this life with others.”

The self-acclaimed queen of Ghana music says she worships God always, adding that “I love to keep my space to myself. I go to church the least chance I get. The music we are doing is very spiritual and you either choose this or that. And this is what I choose.

She added that, “If it is God’s will, I will start a church.”

It can be seen that, the Rufftown record label signee rebranded herself in the early days of May 2021. The singer now takes to her Twitter page and preaches about God.

Speaking about her new album ‘Shayning Star’, she hinted that the album is preaching about revolution and how she survived cyberbullying in the Ghanaian music industry.

The Shayning star is very personal to me. Relating it to cyberbullying, I am using this album as an opportunity to encourage others. Don’t let people intimidate you.

She added that, “the whole idea of the album is to bring out the side people do not know about me and show people my growth. I want other people to see the other side of me and grow with me.”

Wendy Shay is one of the Ghanaian female artists who when venturing in the music industry was bullied, insulted among other things on social media but has not loosed focused.
