“One corner” crooner Justice Amoah, popularly known as Patapaa has hinted of a new single that features Wendy Shay.

According to Patapaa, his original plan was to feature Dance Hall King of Ghana Shatta Wale but said arrangements with Shatta Wale while he was outside the country, seemed to be delaying hence his decision to put Commander of Shay Gangs on the track. Patapeezy hinted that the song when released, will surprise everyone.

Although he did not disclosed when this single will be dropping, Patapaa only said “very soon and Ghanaians will be surprised”’

He also said it is time Ghanaian circular musicians come to accept as fact that “our genre of music is highlife, not what people claim they are playing”.

He told Sammy Flex, Host of Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon 102.1 FM that “I will support my King (Shatta) at any time. If we are not doing our genre which is highlife, we will be seen as strangers, because all the genres that people are doing now are foreign, we are alien to those. Ampadu, Amakye Dede and the rest who started before us, played highlife and that is what we should do. So, I support Shatta 24/7”.

He explained that “if we play these other songs in funerals, how will our old people dance and what advice could contain in those songs. They are not our culture so we have to retain to highlife” he told Sammy Flex.
