The decision to suspend the strike according to Ghana Private Road Transport Union of TUC Ghana (GPRTU) is as a result of an invitation the leadership has received to attend meeting with the President Nana Addo.

The intended strike action which was scheduled to take effect today Monday 6th December 2021 has been suspended, the statement from the transport union said.

This came at the back of nationwide strike which saw many of commuters stranded especially in the capital Accra, many hours in the early morning of Monday.
