The Volta Regional Police Command is on a manhunt for one Frank who has been suspected to have murdered his girlfriend and deposited her in his refrigerator.

Police statement available to Mynewsafric.com said on November 22, 2022 at about 9:00am the police received information from close door neighbours of the suspect Ho-Fiave that on that day, they observed a strong stench emanating from Frank’s room with house flies hovering around the windows and door.

Police investigators were dispatched to the scene and while they broke into the room, they found the remains of the girlfriend of the suspect only known Lizzy, dead in a double-decker refrigerator.

The tenant, Frank was nowhere to be found. An investigative team proceeded to the scene and after careful inspection of the crime scene, the statement from the Police indicated.

 At the time of retrieving the body of the deceased, it was already in an advanced state of decomposition.

The body together with the white double-decker refrigerator was conveyed to the Ho Municipal Hospital morgue awaiting autopsy.

Meanwhile search is underway to trace and arrest the alleged boyfriend who is believed to have killed the deceased.
