The Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) has announced a possible “load management” following the collapse of a communication mast on the 330kV Aboadze — Kumasi Transmission Line.

A media correspondence from GRIDCo on Wednesday, November 10, announced that the incident happened near Bogoso in the Western Region and resulted in the collapse of two adjacent towers.

The statement said the occurrence has affected the national power system and may result in some load management.

GRIDCo is working around the clock to replace the fallen towers within the shortest possible time”, it added.

The power producing company apologized to the public for any inconvenience caused and assured that “GRIDCo is committed to maintaining a stable network for reliable and efficient power delivery”.
