The Member of Parliament for Ketu South Abla Dzifa Gomashie has described as disappointing President Nana Addo’s response to the Paramount Chief of Aflao.

She thus called on the President to apologise to not only Torgbui Adzonugaga Amenya V but to the entire citizens of the Aflao Tradional Area.

This was in relation to the President response to the chief of Aflao , Torgbui Adzongaga Amenya Fiti when  he gave a four months ultimatum to the Education Minister to complete the E-block building for use in his community.

President Nana Akufo-Addo in a Peace FM interview asked the Paramount Chief of the Aflao Traditional Area to “complete” the abandoned E-block Community Day Senior High School in the area himself if he is frustrated about the delay.

But Abla Dzifa Gumashie who is the MP of the area, speaking in a phone interview with Mynewsafric.com explains that the Paramount chief has the right to demand a share of the national cake to his people, adding that “he should not have been disrespected like that”.

The president needs to apologize to redeem his image in the eyes of the good people of Aflao” she added.

When asked if she has heard from the chief, she responded that she has been trying to reach him but has not been successful.

“I want to apologize to him because I personally invited him to the function where he gave the president the ultimatum”.

“It may look as if I have set him up to be disrespected”, she said.
