Founder and leader of All People’s Congress (PNC) Hassan Ayariga and MP for Bawku Central Mahama Ayariga have lost their mum.

Madam Charity Boya Abdulai died in Accra on Tuesday October 19, 2021.

She was reported to have died at the 37 Military Hospital, Accra.

Announcing her death through a Facebook post, Mahama Ayariga said it was with deep regret that he announces the passing of his Mum.

“It is with deep regret that I inform you that my Mum; Madam Charity Boya Abdulai passed away this morning in Accra” he wrote.

On his part, Hassan Ayariga wrote “Rest in perfect peace Mum. You left us yesterday at 11:30pm at the 37 Military hospital without saying goodbye. Farewell, Mummy”

Details of her death is currently unknown but burial rites are expected to commence soon in accordance with Islamic tradition.
