The vice president of Ghana Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has urged African youth to aim at the necessary mental and physical skills in shaping the continent.

Dr. Bawumia made the call when he was delivering a speech on behalf of the President at the ongoing Youth Connekt Summit on Wednesday, October20, 2021.

He further challenged African youth to take a lead role in positioning the continent as the giant of the future with the large growing of human resource at her disposal.

The YouthConnekt Africa Summit is an annual events that connects youth from across Africa and beyond with political leaders, policy influencers and stakeholders from public and private institutions to engage, discuss, design and empower the young people from all over the world at the continental level.

The top speakers at this year’s event include Paul Kagame, President of Rwanda, Mr. Jung-Taek Lim, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea and Rosemary Mbabazi, Minister of youth and culture, Rwanda.

The summit provides a platform for all partners involved in youth development to effect policies, partnerships and programs that will connect for continental transformation.
