Rising Lagos born, Accra based artist WES7AR 22 says Ghana should invest more into its entertainment industry.

Speaking in an interview with Sammy Flex, host of Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon FM, WES7AR says though talents abound in Ghana, it is very difficult to discover a talented underground artist. This he blamed it on the industry not giving much support in terms of investments to these artist.

Comparing Nigeria to Ghana in terms of investments in the Music industry, he said Nigeria has got the funds, but there is lack of direction for their music.

WES7AR believes that if more money is channeled into production of music in Ghana by industrial players, it will help up and coming musicians to be easily discovered.

Sharing his perspective on songs, WES7AR revealed that he is inspired by his own stories and people around him.

He has a new single which he calls it ‘Alcohol.’
