Musician and host of Taxi Driver Show on Zylofon 102.1FM and Zylofon TV, Blakk Rasta known in real life as Abubakar Ahmed, has compared Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to late Ghanaian comedian Bob Okala.
According to Blakk Rasta, the Vice President has become what he called “a laughing stock” to Ghanaians whenever he mounts the podium to speak.
Adding that when Dr. Bawumia and the Late Bob Okala are in competition, the legendary comedian stands no chance in winning.
He noted that Dr. Bawumia had a very attractive and admirable personality which even caused people like himself to visit him in his early days of being a Vice President. However, the moment he started campaigning, he tripped off into becoming a comedian.
“Bawumia came into this country with a fresh mind and fresh entry. All of us gravitated towards him. In fact, I personally visited him in his home. So happy to see such a strong, powerful, young man with all Economic ideas in his head…Who else will not thumbprint such a gentleman like that?“
“But the moment he went on his campaign train, you could tell that this was not a ‘politrician’ he was a comedian,” he said.
Reiterating that “Bawumia spoke a lot of English on the campaign train, spoke a lot of things, used a lot of nasty language whiles he was campaigning. I remember, one of his biggest tag lines ‘Incompetent Mahama.’ He spoke Economics that gave all of us Erections, we were waiting for our savior to rescue the economy of this country.”
“But what happened? Today Bawumia is blaming the economy, terrible out on what? Demons and principalities.”
Blakk Rasta further alleged that Dr. Bawumia would be “a bad influence” to his children if he continues to allow them (his children) listen to him.
The Musician and radio personality’s comments came after Dr. Bawumia was reported to have made some assertions regarding the country’s current state of the economy at a TESCON conference at the University of Cape Coast, as well as positing that the New Patriotic Party will break the eight-year electoral cycle in the 2024 polls.
