Ghanaian socialite Mona 4Real, known in private life as Mona Montrage has revealed that Coronavirus (Covid-19) made her venture into the music industry.

Speaking in an interview with Sammy Flex, host of Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon FM she said Covid-19 came with a lot of uncertainties, and with the fear of having to come to realization that one day she will be no more, she decided to fulfill one of the things she has been dreaming to do in life, which is music.

The socialite turned musician released her first single ’Badder Than’ in November 2020, which garnered over 1 million views on YouTube. She has since released ‘Fine girl’ ‘God’s child’ and her latest featuring Shatta Wale ‘Baby.’

According to the musician, before venturing into music, she spoke with Richie Mensah Boss of Lynx entertainment who she said has been very helpful in her carrier, while adding that Richie has been helpful in composing some of her songs.

About some of the things she currently does in order to better her chances in the male domibated industry, Mona 4Real stated that she has been undergoing voice training with one Nii Quaye twice or thrice in a week.

Under her record label ‘4Real Entertainment,’ she hinted that she has signed two underground artiste who will later in the year, will be releasing their singles.

I will get to the Grammy’s through hard work and determination. I want to perform at the 02 arena in London,” she stated.

Talking about her new song featuring Shatta Wale, she said “I have recorded a song with Shatta Wale before. About four to five years ago”.

Shatta is one of the people who knows I have music in me” she concluded.
