Zylofon Music signee Obibini known in real life as Kwaku Boafo says he has dashed his ‘Yardie’ remix to the BHIM Nation president Stonebwoy.

The remix features Stonebwoy and another Zylofon signee, Akiyaana.

It would be recalled that in the early days of May, Obibini released a single titled ‘Yardie.’ Thie song has fared well in the market leading a remix.

Speaking to Sammy Flex, host of Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon 102.1 FM, the fast rising Hip Hop artiste said ‘Yardie’ is a song he did not take seriously but the feedback he got after the release has been impressing so far and thus called for a proper packaging of the single.

He said “Actually I did this song out of mere fun. I wanted to do something not so serious. It blow my mind, it blow my mind, so the team came together and where like charley let’s package it well and send it back to them.”

According to Obibini, “Yardie is more like a dancehall tune and you know OB is a rapper, I employ proper dancehall people you know, to help me package it well. It was one big family.

The Rapper said his team decided to put Stonebwoy on the track to give it a proper dancehall tune, and Akiyaana to have a blend of the female presence.

I put the original thing on IG anytime I put anything on Yardie, Stonebwoy comes to comment. First time he was like Tuneee. And I was like look, I must put my brother on this thing. We are super cool with each other. I like Akiyaana and her music. So I put her on. The female presence will put the girls on the track,” he said.

He told Sammy Flex that he did not expect ‘Yardie’ to do well in the market as it is doing now. Adding that, “so far I like the vibe. I am hopeful this will be a breakthrough song for me. But I am not raising my expectations high.”

“I have dashed the song to Stonebwoy,” he concluded.
