Musician and host of Taxi Driver Show on Zylofon 102.1 FM Blakk Rasta has fired back at Shatta Wale on his #FixTheCountry comment.

According to Blakk Rasta, it is important to fix one’s self, but then again the people of Ghana have the right to demand accountability from the government because they have paid taxes.

It is very important to fix ourselves. But we have a leader, we have a president we voted into power, we all pay our taxes. The country is headed by the president we voted into power. A lot can be done if our tax money is used properly. If our tax money is being used carelessly, it will cause us to come out and demand good governance, we have to demand accountability.”

He added that, “Shatta Wale is fake” and since he made a name for himself he has done nothing to support the youth.

Blakk Rasta claims that when Shatta had an opportunity to meet the President, he was demanding things for himself and had forgotten about the people who made him the Shatta Wale of today.

People are dying, they are been shot and killed. Shatta Wale had the opportunity to meet the president, what did he tell the president? He was asking for things for himself. Mr. President I need this car, I need that car. You had the opportunity to meet with the man we pay our taxes to, should you not be talking to the man in power about the numerous people who voted for him?

We helped you fix yourself, but now you are telling us to fix ourselves? Today when I am down I do not need you to tell me to get up, I need you to help me get up so that I can walk. We all know where Bandana came from. You show the whole world you have much money, you show them how much swimming pools you have, what are you doing for the youth? Do you think about what you will do for the people who supported you? The youth have no brains, they keep supporting the wrong people. Nothing good has come out from Shatta Movement. The people supported you so that you can also support them” he added.

The host noted that he was hurt about the comments of Shatta Wale, who always sees himself as a demigod.

I decided to come out and open it all because this guy is gradually becoming a demigod. As long as you decide to become a demigod, you must be cut down in size. [If] Anybody you have supported to get somewhere, come on finally to flaunt their wealth in front of you yet they cannot support you, they are only telling you that you have labored in vain and you are stupid,” he said.

This comes after Shatta Wale took to his Facebook page to comment on the Ejura protestors who were protesting against the killing of a #FixTheCountry activist. Two of the protestors were killed in the process.

His statement reads “Educated fools and disappointment graduates say #Fixthecountry. Fix yourself cheap thinkers.”
