Three persons have been confirmed dead after a mining pit collapsed on them at Breman, a mining community in the Upper Denkyira West District of the Central Region.
The three unnamed persons, a man, a woman, and a 10-year-old girl are among those who have died, whilst forty more people between the ages of 24 and 35 are believed to be trapped in the pit.
