The Deputy General Secretary in charge of operations of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) Mohammed Nuhu Jingli has resigned from his position and as a member of the party.

In a resignation letter addressed to the General Secretary of the CPP and intercepted by Mynewsafric.com, Mohammed Nuhu Jingli, who is also the Northern regional secretary of the CPP said “this resignation takes immediate effect”.

“Kindly be informed that the decision of my resignation is personal and based on principle”, he added.

“I wish to send my heartfelt gratitude to the rank and file of the party for the confidence they conferred on me by appointing me as the Deputy General Secretary (operation) and also electing me to serve as Northern regional secretary for two consecutive terms”.
