The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MoGCSP) will soon fully rollout an Integrated Social Services (ISS) Operational manual for all Health staff across the country.
The Ministry which is being represented at a two-day workshop by the Project Coordinating Unit, Department of Children, and the LEAP Secretariat, is assisting the Ghana Health Service to develop guidelines to serve as a reference document for all health care providers to strengthen social services’ implementation and streamline operations.
The initiative is focused on strengthening linkages between Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty (LEAP) Programme and key implementing agencies.
It is also aimed at increasing complementarity and efficient service delivery to the vulnerable and excluded.
