Dancehall king Shatta Wale was allegedly shot by some unidentified gunmen in the afternoon of Monday October 18, 2021.

He is said to be in critical condition at an undisclosed hospital.

His road manager, Nana Dope, took to Snapchat to reveal that Wale was ambushed by some unknown gunmen in East Legon October 18, 2021.

According to him, they attacked them in the rain and Wale was lucky to escape from his attckers.

Nana Doe says Wale is now in hospital receiving treatment.

Doe, who doubles as Wale’s personal assistant, wrote on his snap: “SMH!! They could do this in this rain? SMFH

If not the fact that he was driving prepared, it would have been too bloody!! F*ck this!! My niqqa too strong to give up!! You strong my g, I dont even know what to even say!! The typing make difficult.

“Thanks to all those calling to check up, the king is still at the emergency ward receiving treatment”

Although some critics are of the view this could be another ‘careful orchestration’ by the ‘King’ to promote his incoming album, but his road manager disagreed.

Nana Dope also called on those who have recorded the incident and circulating same on social media should desist.
