Reggae Dancehall musician and commander of Shatta Movement Charles Nii Armah Mensah also known as Shatta Wale has been granted a GH₵100,000 bail by Accra Circuit Court.
The court also granted bail to rapper Samuel Adu Frimpong, also known as Medikal.
He was also granted a bail of GH₵100, 000, same as the three other accomplices who were arrested with Shatta Wale
They were all admitted to the sum on Tuesday, October 26, 2021.
Reports from the court said while Shatta Wale was released on his own recognizance, his accomplices each had one surety.
Wale was arrested last week after claiming to have been shot, but the story was later revealed to be a fabrication. His associates were also apprehended.
