Controversial Ghanaian counsellor Cyril George Carstensen Lutterodt, popularly known as Counsellor Lutterodt says Moesha Buduong is suffering from a mental disorder and not a spiritual attack.

Speaking to Sammy Flex host of Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon 102.1FM, the counsellor said Moesha’s management and family have failed to play their roles well, saying that is why all this is happening. According to him, “Kofi Asamoah was covering himself up by saying that the family, the friends are around Moesha, helping Moesha. I put it to him that they are wicked people. Because people are managing Moesha, we should not have heard an alleged suicide attempt, we should not have heard it. If people are around Moesha and they know what she is going through, it is a mental disorder. They don’t know it is a Mental disorder, they think it is a spiritual repentance, for the where, for the where? There is nothing spiritual about what Moesha is going through.”

Counselor Lutterodt explained that, “when a man/woman decides to accept Christ as their Lord and personal savior, nothing changes about them when they repent, whoever they are, they are still the same people. It is the renewing of the mind, Moesha is not qualified to go on evangelism. Moesha is not qualified to preach Christ to anybody. She just repented and the only thing is she will do mistake that can cost her to go to jail and die prematurely. If you don’t take time you will die prematurely like John the Baptist.”

He advised the family takes the actress to see a psychologist who would help her overcome her challenges, thereby suggesting that she is going through depression.

When she repented, the things she has done is passed, you go through Classes to teach you so you know what to say and what not to say…Depression is a mental disorder in psychology. When people are going through withdrawal, for example they drink, smoke, they have withdrawn from that addiction and they are withdrawing from it because they have sided with Christ,” he added.

Ghanaian actress Moesha Buduong has been in the news for the past few months after the news of her repentance broke. The one who caught the attention of many was the video which suggested the lady was in a very bad state. The video shows Moesha talking about her past experiences in life to some young people who were around her.
